We support you

At Oxford Neurosurgery we think its important to have a healthy work-life balance:

  • We constantly collect feedback from trainees and non-trainees, and we react to this feedback.

  • Handover is monitored, and we generate very few exception reports.

  • Trainees here find they are able to fulfill all of their training requirements within the normal working week.

  • All new trainees and non-trainees are paired with a senior non-consultant mentor, to help with work based assessments and to provide guidance.

Things to do in Oxford

Moving to a completely new area to start an eight year training program can be daunting, especially if you have kids that will need entertaining. The Oxford Neurosurgery trainees have put together a list of great family days out.
